Nicola & Wayne Part one
We loved the way all men of the bridal party, including the dads got groomed and polished for their big day at a Turkish Barber shop, while the women spent the morning in gowns and curlers with beautiful light flowing into each room. It was a slow relaxing morning of preparations, as it should be before the ceremony and craziness that follows. Nicola and Wayne were a cool, calm and collected couple, even when the weather turned for the cold and their chinese lanterns caught on fire later in the evening they remained happy and shrugged it off with a laugh (but more on that in part two) ; ).

Nicola & Wayne Gold Reef City e-shoot
Last week Sunday we went down to Gold Reef City to do a little pre-wedding shoot with Nicola and Wayne. We had such a ball running around the theme park, eating ice-cream and candy floss and finding cool secret spots all over the place. Can’t wait to shoot their wedding on the 31st March!
Greg & Bianca’s Midlands wedding
Early December we went down to the Midlands to Shoot Greg and Bianca Skinner’s wedding. There was so much love in the room the whole weekend, the Bride and Groom were always bursting with smiles and excitement! The weather, typically Midlands weather was cool and foggy made for a beautiful backdrop for wedding pictures, at the end of the evening the gutsy bride and groom even jumped into the chilly pool to squeeze in a last minute trash the dress ; ) despite the weather
Greg & Bianca – sneak peak
Just before this busy year comes to an end we decided we better get some blog posts in. We’ve been pleasantly surprised about the amount of enquiries and bookings we’ve got for hello harbour (we even got an enquiry for 2013 which made my face feel a bit funny because it’s so far in advance but made me also excited that this little hello harbour could grow into something big).
Greg and Bianca were one of our very first clients, hiring us to do their lovely stop motion invitation earlier this year – one that will always stand out for us as one of the funnest shoots we’ve done.
Their wedding was held in amongst the misty forests of the Midlands that made for a stunning backdrop for pictures.. here’s a little sneak peak. More to come soon.
